As a Binghamton Student it was so exciting to finally have our basketball team play in March Madness 2009. The Bearcats had not made it that far in about 60 years. Even though Duke is a great team and we knew it was a slim chance that Binghamton would win everyone was still hyped for the game. My friends piled on buses and traveled all the way to Greensboro, North Carolina to watch the game. Even though Duke won the game, being in the tournament brought out a lot of school spirit back at Binghamton and made everyone look forward to the upcoming season.
